Hi, I'm Wendy, founder of the Typsy Gypsies. Started in 2009, Typsy Gypsies has evolved from a simple little vending business into a big basket of eclectic goodness. Some of the things you might see the Typsy Gypsies name associated with are henna body art, polymer clay art, van life, Etsy, and so many other things.

Henna Body Art





I got my first henna kit in 1998 and started experimenting with designs on friends, family, and myself. In 2010 I incorporated henna body art into my event canopy, and it quickly became the best seller in my booth! I only uses pure, finely sifted henna powder to make my henna paste. I mix the powder with lemon juice, tea tree oil, and fine sugar to create the paste which is then applied with a jaquard bottle. Typsy Gypsies is not only available for events, but I can provide henna for corporate functions and private events like birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, healing henna, or just a get together with friends.


I believe that henna application process should be a relaxing, soothing experience, so come pick out a design, sit a spell, relax, and get some beautiful body art!



Travel





I love traveling and experiencing everything I can. I've been using Atlas Obscura as a resource for travel ideas and it's incredible.


I was raised in a family that traveled extensively in the western US, and I continue to travel and explore that area as well as expanding into new territory (for me anyway). Now I travel in my Dodge Ram cargo van, equipped with a bed and lots o' storage!
